Cultures of Care: An online forum to discuss community organizing + Help with Health Insurance
Inglewood Open Studios + CAL
Saturday January 14, 10-11:30am, online
Hello friends and Happy New Year!
Join Inglewood Open Studios President Renée Fox and Vice President Holly Tempo; and Contemporary Art League co-founders Corrina Peipon and Debra Scacco for a community conversation about contributing to cultures of care. The two organizations will discuss how they began and the community needs they hope to serve, as well as share information on Contemporary Art League’s Help with Health Insurance initiative. Attendees are invited to contribute to the conversation by sharing current needs or resources.
No need to register. Simply join the Zoom here.
In August of 2022, we announced our partnership with the Entertainment Community Fund (ECF) to provide free, confidential Covered CA navigation services. Help with Health Insurance is a personal service that assists art workers with expert advice on navigating Covered California to ensure you are selecting the best health insurance plan for your needs and budget. Covered CA navigators work exclusively with the arts and entertainment industry and can advise on the administrative process to ensure Covered CA eligibility and benefits remain up to date over time.
We hope to see you online on the 14th!
In solidarity,
Contemporary Art League
